Complimentary domestic and international travel insurance

Complimentary international and domestic travel insurance, with rental vehicle excess cover in Australia and overseas transit accident insurance, for HSBC Premier World Mastercard holders who meet the eligibility criteria in the Personal Cards Complimentary Insurance Policy Information Booklet; for international cover, charge at least $500 of prepaid travel costs to the card before leaving Australia and hold a return overseas travel ticket, and Allianz Global Assistance's benefit limits and exclusions apply. The card is closed to new applicants and can be used for purchases until 17 November 2026, so qualifying travel must be paid by then. Cover applies to events before 1 January 2028 and ends 1 Jan 2028.
