Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the Perkroo app. By creating an account, you agree to them.

1. What Perkroo is (and isn't)

Perkroo is a tracking tool: it collects, in one place, the perks, discounts, and birthday offers published by providers whose memberships you already hold. Perkroo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any of the providers or merchants shown in the app. Their names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify their published offers.

2. Offers are information, not promises

Offers change, end, and vary by store. Before relying on any offer, check that you're eligible and that your store participates — the app links to each offer's source where available. Savings amounts shown in the app are estimates. We work to keep the catalogue accurate (including community moderation), but we can't guarantee any offer will be honoured, and we're not responsible if one isn't.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old and provide accurate details.
• You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account.

4. Premium subscription

• Perkroo Premium is a monthly auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple to your Apple ID (A$1.99/month at launch; local pricing may vary by region and may change for new subscription periods with notice).
• It renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings — deleting the app does not cancel it.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

5. Community submissions

• You can share offers you've spotted (including a photo). Submissions are reviewed by moderators before they appear publicly, and we may edit, decline, or remove them at any time.
• By submitting, you confirm the content is accurate to your knowledge and doesn't infringe anyone's rights, and you give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it in the app.
• Don't submit anything false, misleading, offensive, or unlawful. You can report inappropriate content from any offer screen; we review reports promptly.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app — including attempting to access other users' data, probing or disrupting our systems, scraping the catalogue, or using the app for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

7. Liability

Perkroo is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, whose guarantees we don't exclude where they apply), we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses arising from offers that turn out to be unavailable, changed, or misdescribed. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Ending or changing the service

We may update, change, or discontinue features (or these terms) as the service evolves. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll flag them in the app; continuing to use Perkroo after that means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts there.
