Complimentary domestic and international travel insurance

Complimentary domestic and international travel insurance for existing HSBC Star Alliance cardholders who meet the insurer's activation criteria, typically by paying for part of your prepaid travel with the card; terms and age limits apply. The card is closed to new applicants and can be used for payments until 17 November 2026. Cover ends 1 January 2028, so events on or after that date are not covered.
